Motion Study

What are the properties and fine details of an object in motion? How might one first understand an object in motion and then represent that motion through a still artifact? For this project the motion of my German Shepherd Hazel was analyzed of a 3 second time period. By capturing a repeating sequence of still frames, it was possible to deeply analyze the varying components of her movement. Having done so, the movement of a single hind leg was isolated, drawn, and then represented through a physical artifact made from Bass Wood.
