Light Experience

How might one take a seemingly mundane material, such as white foam core, and transform it so the materiality is lost in a greater light experience? Here, we were given the challenge to create two lamps, one standing and one hanging, that when hung in proximity to one another could be viewed as a unified light experience. The lamps were to be constructed using white foam core and without the use of any fasteners or adhesives.
